Summary[edit]

Description
English: Fe-C binary diagram restricted to the domain of steels; not valid in case of quenching (martensite, bainite) or presence of gammagen elements (austenitic steels). Solvus A1 = lower limit of existence of austenite; solvus A3 = upper limit of existence of ferrite; solvus Acm = upper limit of existence of cementite.
