Description
English: The opening night of the musical "The Tigress of Weiach" about the local battles of the French Revolutionary Wars in 1799/1800. The production was commissioned by the municipality of Weiach in the canton of Zurich (Switzerland) to celebrate the 750th anniversary of the first documentary mention of the village. Script written by Mathias Reiter, music composed by Raimund Wiederkehr and play directed by Jeannot Hunziker.
Français : La première représentation de la comédie musicale "La Tigresse de Weiach" sur les batailles locales des guerres d'indépendance françaises 1799/1800. La production a été commandée par la commune de Weiach, canton de Zurich, pour célébrer le 750e anniversaire de la première mention documentaire du village. Mathias Reiter a écrit le texte, Raimund Wiederkehr a composé la musique et Jeannot Hunziker a dirigé.
Deutsch: Die Premierenvorstellung des Musicals "Die Tigerin von Weiach" über die örtlichen Kämpfe der Französischen Unabhängigkeitskriege 1799/1800. Die Produktion wurde von der Gemeinde Weiach, Kanton Zürich, in Auftrag gegeben, um den 750. Jahrestag der ersturkundlichen Erwähnung des Dorfes zu feiern. Den Text schrieb Mathias Reiter, die Musik komponierte Raimund Wiederkehr, Regie führte Jeannot Hunziker.
