Description
English: Tudor style doll's house, circa 1930s Similar doll's houses were being produced by Lines Bros Triang Toys from the 1930s to the mid-1950s. The Tudor style house was one of their more popular houses and was exported to Australia and New Zealand. This house with its papered brick work and roof tiles has similarities to the plainer doll's house style referred to as butter box doll's houses - lithographed paper representing red brickwork and roof tiles weere produced by companies such as Hobbies and Handicrafts Ltd of Great Britain, which also sold fretwork kits and fittings for dolls houses
