De aan de zuidelijke oever van de Nederrijn gelegen langgerekte betonnen brug is van het type DOORLAATBRUG met aan de westzijde metalen schuiven. Deze brug in Arnhem-Zuid (Meinerswijk), gelegen tussen de Drielsedijk en de Meginhardweg, is gebouwd in 1934-1935 en wordt gebruikt voor fiets- en voetgangersverkeer. De bouw van deze brug staat in functioneel verband met de oostwaarts gelegen doorlaatbrug de Eldensedijk. (monument 516936)
