Description
Deutsch: Granit-Findling in Dornbirn. Ursprünglich bei der Karrenseilbahn in der Dornbirner Ach gefunden. Nunmehr ein Denkmal der Standschützen im Rathauspark/Kulturhauspark. Der Granit-Findling gilt zusammen mit dem im Gütle als ältester Stein in Dornbirn und soll 150 Millionen Jahre alt sein.
English: Granite boulder (Erratic block out of Granite) in Dornbirn. Originally found at the Karrenseilbahn in the Dornbirner Ach. Now a monument to the "Standschützen" ( rifle guilds) in the Rathauspark / Kulturhauspark. The granite boulder together with that in Gütle is the oldest stone in Dornbirn and is said to be 150 million years old.
Français : Bloc de granit (bloc erratique en granit) à Dornbirn. Trouvé à l'origine à la Karrenseilbahn dans le Dornbirner Ach. Aujourd'hui monument aux "Standschützen" (guildes de tir) dans le Rathauspark / Kulturhauspark. Le bloc de granit avec celui de Gütle est la plus ancienne pierre de Dornbirn et aurait 150 millions d'années.
