English: Autograph signature of Rodrigo Díaz, [also] called El Cid, in a document by him that [reflects that he] makes a donation to the Cathedral of Valencia. [The o]riginal [is] in [the] Archive of the Cathedral of Salamanca, box 43, list 2, number 72. It reads in Latin: ego ruderico, "I, Rodrigo".
