English: Dress, two piece rose pink satin, .1 bodice, tight fitting, .2 skirt, narrow skirt with bustle back, pleated around hem, short train “DEEP ROSE PINK SATIN DRESS two piece tight fitting bodice narrow skirt quilted at front bustle back with pleats below and around hem – short train. Bodice with narrow deep neck-line – front opening with self-covered buttons – boning – vandyked finish around waist. Little tabs-tails at back. Original machine-made lace at neck, cuffs and pannier below the waist and lace fall down back of skirt. Much of the skirt is stiffened in net-gauze. Boned bodice tapes inside to catch skirt backwards. Labelled - “Herbert’s French millinery and dressmaking establishment - Birkenhead”. Made for a very small person.”
