English: Wedding dress, bodice and skirt; bodice of ivory (bombazine) to waist length; back has pintuck detail of downward arrowhead formation in groups of three pintucks; one-piece gathered sleeves with dart placed along outside wrist; five groups of three pintucks running down sleeve; sleeve at wrist pointed at both front and back; edged in lace along front; gauze cuff with bombazine trim and hook and eye closure; front and back has under-corset of linen with bombazine facing and 17 hooks for closure; front over-bodice made of bombazine, crosses over bust with pleats and darts from waist; handmade linen lace covers from shoulder and meck to bust with closure on left hand side using 7 hooks and eyes; high stand collar formed with wire and covered in handmade linen lace; narrow bombazine belt attached to waist with closure on left hand side with hook and eye; gauze trim from shoulder across bust to other shoulder. skirt in ivory (bombazine); full length with train incorporated; split into 5 panels, one front, two side and two back panels; front and side have a width of knife-pleated (bombazine) attached in a wavey pattern to cover lower part of skirt with ivory coloured gauze being used as trim over the join; at centre back waist the two back panels form a box pleat; each panel has two and a bit widths of fabric cut on the bias to form the train; a narrow waistband has an eye at centre back (for bodice hook) and finishes at left hand side front opening, with 11 hooks and eyes for closure; entire skirt lined in a twill weave ivory linen with lower back panels having a starched (linen) used as interlining; attached along entire inside hem is a width of starched (linen) with linen bobbin lace trim; a type of wadding has been used to bulk out the hem turn-up along 2 back panels.
