English: Dress, linen “WHITE LINEN DRESS fine white linen – embroidered in floral sprays of whitework at centre front of bodice and more extensively over skirt panels (N.B. embroidery runs over seams). Seven panel skirt slightly gathered at waist and cut to a wide hem line. Tucks around hem line and embroidery as above. Separate bodice cut to tuck into waist band – low busted – hooked and buttons down back. Large puff sleeves ending with lace at ¾ length. V necked bodice and high neck in lace and insertion and tucks down front and back. All fairly roughly assembled some slight staining near neck and rust on skirt.”
