Dress Hook (rev)
Description
English: Iron dress hook dating to the late medieval/ early post medieval period. The dress hook is highly ellaborated on the front, with waht apears (despite corrosion of iron) to be a heart shape design with three inbossed circles. This main body of the hnook has gold tinning remaining in places. The body tapers to a simple hooked end. The back shows evidence of a rivit hole at the top, and i the middle of the body a further small hook.
