Description |
English: A complete silver gilt dress hook with a cast plate and an applied wire loop. The plate is triangular; the front face has an applied filigree border. In the centre is a raised boss decorated with a filigree trefoil and a central silver knop, there are three knops around, one in each corner of the plate. At each angle of the plate there is a trefoil delimited with filigree and each trefoil has a central knop. The reverse has been filed and a silver loop applied formed to make two small loops for sewing the fitting to cloth and a larger loop, presumably to act as a catch for a hook. Dimensions: 20.62mm in length, 20.45mm in width and 1.40g in weight. |
