English: Dynamic restriction of cldnb:GFP-expressing cells in the optic cup. A Tg (-8.0cldnb:lynGFP)zf106 transgenic embryo (green), colabeled with membrane-targeted RFP (red) was imaged between 18- and 24ss. Cells expressing cldnb:GFP first cover the complete outer optic cup layer and then get gradually localized to the dorsal half – the future nasal retina. Cross-section through one half of the forebrain, dorsal is up and lateral to the left. Frame interval: 10 min. Number of frames: 17. Each frame is a single confocal section. |
