Description |
English: Cast copper alloy harness pendant with red enamel heraldic decoration. The pendant is shield shaped and has an oval suspension loop at the middle of the top edge (the pendant was suspended point downwards). The decoration is of three lions on a field of red enamel (gules, three lions passant guardant or).These were the Arms of England until they were combined with those of France by Edward III in 1340. The back is undecorated.
