DescriptionESA Director General Visits KSC (KSC-20211029-PH-CSH03 0033).jpg |
English: Delegates from the European Space Agency and German Space Agency visited NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Oct. 29, 2021. Inside the spaceport’s Neil Armstrong Operations and Checkout building, the international partners viewed the European-built service module, its crew module adapter as well as the heat shield and crew module for Artemis II. Additionally, they were able to view the pressure vessel – the shell for the crew module – for Artemis III. Together with NASA’s Orion program and contractor Lockheed Martin, teams have begun checkouts and assembly for these future Artemis missions. |
