Deutsch: Das Doppelhaus Luisenstraße 2-4 wurde von dem renommierten Eisenacher Architekten Eduard Sältzer für den Kammerherren und Hauptmann Franz August von Stockhausen (Haus Nr. 2), den Geologen, Paläontologen und Unternehmer Johann Georg Bornemann und zum Eigenbedarf im Jahre 1872 entworfen und 1874 fertiggestellt. In diesem Haus wohnte von 1886-1932 der Schwiegersohn des Erbauers, der Geheime Großherzoglich-Sächsische Justizrat Alfred Appelius. Er war der Entwurfsverfasser des im Jahre 1909 nach dem Grundsatz des allgemeinen gleichen im Großherzogtum eingeführten direkten Wahlrechts und der letzte Präsident des Landtages im Großherzogtum Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach. Bis 1964 wohnte seine Tochter, Martha Erbslöh, geb. Appelius, mit ihrer Familie im Haus. |
