Title
Early Medieval glass bead
Description
English: An incomplete sky blue opaque glass bead of cylinder design. Only one end of the bead survives. There is a circular hole through the centre of the bead. It was made by trailing glass in a spiral - a line can be seen twisting along the length of the bead. Glass beads are very hard to date, but this one is likely to be Early Medieval because it is from a site which produces a lot of Early Medieval material. Compare SWYOR-41CFB4, BERK-6C6D05 and BERK-6F9BF3.
