Summary[edit]
DescriptionEarthy.jpg |
English: This image was made by using a plastic cup that contained water, fluorescent paint, glitter, and eye shadow. The paint was added first, and it sat in the bottom, mixing with the water a little bit but not completely. It does that because it's much less dense and heavy than the acrylic paint (that's the science in the photo). Then the eyes shadow and glitter were added together and sat on top of the water. Normal room light was used instead of LED lights, and for that reason the image got warmer tones and an "earthy" feeling because of the reds and oranges. The photo can be seen as a microscopy image because of the eye shadow that looks like mold, but the interpretations can go beyond that because of the effect that the glitter gives. |
