Edward Hahnen Dies Here at 75. Edward A. Hahnen, 75, deputy in the Des Moines municipal court clerks office for 35 years, died early Saturday at Iowa Methodist Hospital following a heart attack. Mr. Hahnen suffered a heart attack Tuesday evening at his home. 648 Thirty-third street. He was taken to the hospial and suffered the final attack on Saturday night. A lifetime resident of Des Moines, Mr. Hahnen was a graduate of old West High School. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church and the Pioneer Club. He is survived by his widow, Emma; a son. Richard E.; a daughter, Mrs. Irene H. Schneider, and a grandson, all of Des Moines.
