Llanfihangel-yng-Ngwynfa was a parish within the former historic county of Montgomeryshire. It now forms a major part of the community of Llanfihangel in Powys. St. Michael's Church, Llanfihangel-Yng-Ngwynfa, is believed to be on a site in use as a church since the early medieval period.Cymraeg: Eglwys Mihangel Sant, eglwys plwyf Llanfihangel-yng-Ngwynfa, Powys. Yma y saif cofeb a bedd yr emynyddes Ann Griffiths. Yn yr Oesoedd Canol roedd y pentref yn rhan o gantref Mechain. Mae'r eglwys yn un o sawl yng Nghymru a gysegrir i Sant Mihangel.
