| Description | Einbeck, Münsterstraße 12. Kreuzung Münsterstraße Oleburg. Ecklokal Zum Schusterkrug. Die gesamte Liegenschaft wurde vor dem Zweiten Weltkrieg als Gesellschaftshaus mit großem Festsaal und Kegelbahn genutzt. Dokumentiert war es ab 1893 Treffpunkt und Lokal mehrerer Arbeitervereine, später Gesangsvereine, insbesonders der Schuhmacher- und Lohgerberinnung. Die Gilden der Stadt Einbeck hatten früher großen Einfluss in der Stadt, so hatten sie u.a. das Braurecht. Auch hatte ihr Gildemeister Stimmrecht im Magistrat. Die industrielle Entwicklung veränderte ihren Einfluss. So wandelte sich auch die Funktion dieser Liegenschaft. Aus dem großen Festsaal wurde das Deli-Lichtspieltheater als zweites Kino in Einbeck. Im vorderen Bereich entstand Raum für eine Schlachterei mit Ladenzugang Münsterstraße sowie das Ecklokal Zum Schusterkrug. 1991 startete ein neuer Investor mit der Rettung des vor dem Verfall stehenden Vorderhauses Münsterstraße 12. Es erfolgte eine Kernsanierung nebst Rück- bzw. Umbau. Die Schlachterei verschwand und die Putzfassade wurde abgeschlagen. Es entstand das neue Lokal Zum Schusterkrug mit 50 Plätzen im Schankraum und 42 Plätzen im Restaurantbereich. Auch wurde das Zunftschild der Schuhmacher und Lohgerber Innung mit Jahreszahl 1348 und Abbildung eines Stiefels restauriert. Leidern entsprach die damalige schwindende wirtschaftliche Entwicklung nicht den Erwartungen. Das Lokal Zum Schusterkrug musste ebenso schliessen wie das Deli-Kino. Auch das Gildeschild verschwand. Einzig der funktionslose Schildträger hat sich bis dato erhalten. Beide Liegenschaften warten auf neue Pächter. |
