Español: La obra muestra el momento en que el rey Alfonso I de Aragón († 1134), contempló la matanza llevada a cabo por los almogávares contra las tropas musulmanas de Imad al-Dwla, gobernador de Zaragoza, y poco antes de que la ciudad de Zaragoza cayera en manos de los cristianos, lo que ocurrió en el año 1118. Esta matanza tuvo lugar en un barranco de los montes de Torrero y cerca de la ciudad de Zaragoza.
