Opmerking: twee staten in de collectie van het Rijksmuseum Opschriften / Merken: verzamelaarsmerk, verso midden onder, gestempeld: Lugt 2228a Omschrijving: De profeet Elia is door Obadja, hofmeester van koning Achab, bij de koning gebracht; deze spreekt Elia aan met de woorden: 'Bent u het, Elia? U, die Israël in het ongeluk hebt gestort?’. Hierop legt Elia uit dat de koning zelf zijn volk in het ongeluk heeft gestort door de verkeerde goden te vereren. Op de achtergrond rechts is te zien hoe Obadja, zodra hij Elia herkende, voor hem boog. Onder de voorstelling een regel tekst in Latijn. Deze prent is onderdeel van een serie van vier prenten die het verhaal van de profeet Elia verbeelden.
