  • Significance: The Elizabeth Plankinton House is a Richardsonian Romanesque-inspired building built by pioneer meat packing magnate, John Plankinton as a wedding gift for his daughter Elizabeth. It is one of the last surviving mansions that once predominated the former Grand Avenue residential areas.
