Description

O Palácio do Buriti aderiu, nesta terça-feira (6), à campanha em apoio ao Dia Mundial do Câncer – instituída em 4 de fevereiro de 2005. Até domingo (11), a sede do governo local ficará iluminada nas cores azul e laranja, para alertar quanto aos cuidados com a doença.

A data foi criada pela União Internacional para o Controle do Câncer (UICC) — organização mundial não governamental — de modo a estimular a população a adotar atitudes de prevenção da doença, para diagnóstico precoce e tratamento eficaz.
