Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Caption: "The English dog [hound]"; This designation is already been used in 1619 into Bockspergers "Das neue Thierbuch". After Hoffmann an early shape of the "Bärenbeisser"; he reckoned the "Englisch" in the name means not necessary on the origin, but that the dog was something special.
