English: [Environs of Philadelphia]Two sheets. Engraved. Scale: ca. 1:87 000 (bar). Cartographic Note: North at 33 degrees. Variation not shown, ungraduated. Bar scale in English statute miles. Contents Note: Shows roads, buildings and boundaries and the layout of towns. The churches and meeting places of various religious denominations are marked. There is one example of this chart in the collection: 160. Imprint Feb 19th 1777. No relief indicated but wetlands are marked. Printed on Bates paper. Border yellow, rivers blue.
