Galego: Escudo de San Xoán de Río (Ourense): «De gules (vermello) e sobre ondas de azur (azul) e prata (branco), unha ponte de ouro (amarelo), sumado dunha torre deste e da cruz sanjuanista de prata, flanqueadas de dúas ramas de castiñeiro ao natural. Ao timbre, a coroa real pechada.» Aprobado por Decreto 166/2021 (DOG núm. 242 de 20/12/2021).
Català: Escut de San Xoán de Río (Ourense, Galícia): «De gules (vermell) i sobre ones d'atzur (blau) i argent (blanc), un pont d'or (groc), somat d'una torre del mateix i de la creu de Sant Joan d'argent, flanquejades de dues branques de castanyer al natural. Al timbre, la corona reial tancada.» Aprovat per Decret 166/2021 (DOG núm. 242 de 20/12/2021).
