Português: O historiador Francisco Bento da Silva, professor da Universidade Federal do Acre, fala sobre suas pesquisas acerca do autoritarismo no Acre. Ao iniciar suas investigações, percebeu que para entender a complexidade dessa temática era necessário analisar a história política do Acre desde as primeiras décadas do século XX, quando o atual estado da federação ainda era um território. Ao longo de sua trajetória profissional, o pesquisador vem se dedicando a entender as especificidades do autoritarismo de Estado no Acre tanto no período da ditadura militar quanto em períodos democráticos. Da mesma forma, faz parte de suas inquietações compreender as relações entre o Acre e o estado nacional.
