Description
English: The Inkwell was an English piece of Trench Art, and is engraved with Royal Engineers.

The Letter opener is German and marked "Calais". The pen is French and inscribed with "Juliene 1914-15". The match box holder (I have inserted a match box myself) is inscribed with the insignia of the Leinster Reigment. The Souvenir Ring is inscribed with "Souvenir de la Grande Guerre 1914-1919".

The "Widow's Cross" was the Canadian equivalent of the "Widow's Penny".
