Summary[edit]

Description
English: Russian Federation, award of the Defense Ministry. Honor Medal "for exemplary operation of automotive equipment". Instituted on 14 November 1999 by ministerial order 538. Awarded to military and civilian staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for personal contribution to combat readiness, for improving automotive technology, the organization and safe implementation into operation of such new technologies. Can also be awarded in exceptional cases to individuals who have previously served in research institutions or defense plants in recognition of their achievements in ensuring the development of armored vehicles, the organization and effective operation of automotive testing.
