English: A U.S. Navy Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet from Strike Fighter Squadron VFA-22 "Fighting Redcocks" makes the first arrested landing aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) since the completion of a six-month planned incremental availability (PIA) in the Pacific Ocean on 12 February 2013. The Carl Vinson was underway conducting Precision Approach Landing System (PALS) and flight deck certifications. VFA-22 is assigned to Carrier Air Wing 17 (CVW-17).
