In den 30ern des letzten Jahrhunderts entstanden in der Sowjetunion die ersten Leica-Nachbauten – es waren zunächst exakte Kopien. Hauptsächlich zwei Hersteller sind dafür bekannt: FED und Zorki. Beide Firmen entwickelten aber nach dem Krieg ihre Kameras immer eigenständiger weiter, immer weiter weg vom Vorbild. Den Anfang machte FED, schon das Modell 2 sah nicht mehr wie das Original aus, war aber fortgeschrittener als die in den 50ern noch erhältliche Leica IIIg mit Schraubgewinde. Die FED hatte z. B. einen echten Meßsucher und eine abnehmbare Rückwand. In Preis und Qualität unterschieden sich Original und Nachbau allerdings schon. Die FED-5c gehört zu den am weitesten entwickelten Modellen, sie besitzt außer dem Meßsucher noch einen ungekuppelten Selen-Belichtungsmesser. Man kann sie sogar noch neu von Russland beziehen. Es passen die Original-Leica-M-39-Objektive, ebenso die neuen von Cosina gebauten „Voigtländer“ und natürlich die dazugehörigen russischen Linsen. Ich denke, man sieht es dem Foto nachher nicht an, ob man ein Original-Summar auf die FED draufgeschraubt hatte. Für einen Leica-Freund ist’s natürlich ein Sakrileg ... |
