English: Washington, DC, September 17, 2004 -- US NORTHCOM provided a planning support team to FEMA HQ from September 11-17, 2004 in preparation for Hurricane IVAN. The team consisted of a Current Operations (J33) representative, LCDR Don Taylor (USCG), two Future Operations representatives (J34), Maj Boyd Miller (USMC) and Maj Bill Murphey (USAF). Completing the team were Logistics specialists from US TRANSCOM, Maj Don Knight (USAFR), and MSgt John Warren (USAF). The team sculpted DOD critical supply airlift plans in anticipation of extensive damage along the Gulf Coast region from this summer's third major Hurricane to hit the Southeast region of the United States."
