English: Cedar Rapids, IA, December 15, 2009 -- Greg Eyerly,center, Cedar Rapid's flood-recovery director, makes a point during a weekly meeting in which FEMA, state and city officials gather to address the progress of the city's flood recovery. Roger Hayes, Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Public Assistance project specialist, right foreground, and Doug Wilson, Cedar Rapid's Capital Improvement project director, foreground left, attend weekly to add their input to the ongoing process. Todd Dolphin, FEMA Public Assistance branch director, blue shirt, and Kathy McCarthy, writing, lend their expertise to the process. these weekly meetings while seemingly mundane are critical to maintaining the cooperation between Federal, state and lcoal officials to continue the almost overwhelming job of recovery for this eastern Iowa city.
