Description
Nederlands: Friese Stoomtrein Maatschappij (FStM) locomotief 23 058 tijdens de STAR dagen met personentrein te Halte Bareveld. De 23 058 was op 27 september 1975 de laatste door Bw Crailsheim ingezette locomotief die in december 1975 werd afgevoerd. Deze locomotief werd van Eurovapor [1] gehuurd. Deze locomotief werd door DLM omgebouwd voor het gebruik van Bio-Dieselolie. Hier werd een diesel locomotief de DL1 als reserve achter aan de trein gezet. De rechtbank Leeuwarden heeft op 9 november 2011 de Stichting Stoomtrein Fryslan failliet verklaard, nadat de FStM op 2 november 2011 bekend had gemaakt dat faillissement was aangevraagd. De exploitatie van de stoomverbinding tussen Sneek en Stavoren heeft de laatste jaren diverse keren vertraging opgelopen. Hierdoor was de financiële nood dusdanig opgedreven dat er geen andere uitweg meer mogelijk was. [2] Inmiddels wordt voor deze locomotief een nieuw inzetgebied gezocht. [3] Op 15 februari 2013 werd begonnen met het transport van de locomotief van Stadskanaal via Onnen, Zwolle en Arnhem naar Emmerich, vandaar terug naar Zwitserland. De trein reed in de nacht over het Nederlandse spoorwegnet met een max.snelheid van 45 km/h. [4] Sinds 1 maart 2013 is de locomotief in depot Sissach van de Modern Steam am Hauenstein GmbH terug. Na zijn mislukte avontuur in Nederland heeft de 23-058 lange tijd stil gestaan en geen meter meer gereden. Er komen nu betere tijden aan. De huidige eigenaar, "Eurovapor" en die dat ook zal blijven, heeft nieuw emplooi voor deze machine gevonden. De 23-er krijgt dit voorjaar een "grote overhaul" zodat zij in het najaar weer volop kan stomen. In de volgende EK van maart 2017 staat over vijf pagina een artikel, gelardeerd met vele historische foto's, de geplande inzet van deze machine. Het was de bedoeling dat de 023-58 in de herfst van 2017 bij Süddeutsches Eisenbahnmuseum in Heilbronn onder stoom staat. [7] De locomotief ontving de goedkeuring van een nieuwe revisie van het chassis op 3 mei 2017 in Sissach en na de transfer (koud) naar Sulgen op 29 mei 2017, het resterende ketelwerk inclusief de succesvolle stoomdruktest werd daar voltooid in slechts 4 dagen op 2 juni 2017 in de middag uitgevoerd in aanwezigheid van de SVTI. Zo is de 23 058 sinds 3 juni 2017 weer beschikbaar voor speciale reizen in Zwitserland. [8]

Op 2 juli 2017 werd de voormalige DB-locomotief overgebracht naar zijn voormalige depot in Heilbronn.
