Francisco Henrique Cunha (1892-1968)

Diário da Madeira, folha independente, direção de João dos Reis Gomes (1869-1950), Funchal, 9 de outubro de 1929, ilha da Madeira

'Francisco Henrique Cunha '(Funchal, 30 jun. 1892; idem, 24 ab. 1968). Filho de Francisco Augusto Cunha e de Francisca Emília Nogueira de Guimarães, casou a 2 set. 1915 com Genieve Paula Marie Labordère, filha de Paul Labodère, cônsul da França no Funchal, entrando como empregado no consulado e, em 1919, assumindo o lugar do sogro.  Em 1967 era o decano do corpo consular na Madeira e foi-lhe concedido pelo governo Francês o título de cônsul honorário e o direito de usar o uniforme consular.
João dos Reis Gomes
(1869-1950), oficial de Artilharia e escritor, interessou-se, sobretudo, pelo teatro, de que recolheu um importante acervo fotográfico e bibliográfico na sua quinta a São Martinho, infelizmente, parcialmente perdido com o seu falecimento, dado se encontrar no andar térreo e a propriedade ter ficado muitos anos inabitada.
