English: The problem of world over-population grows more soute year by year and by 1967 the United Nations had established the UN Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA), the role of which is to make governments aware of the economic and social implications of population problems ; to give sustained aassistance to developing countries seeking to solve these problems ; to help organizations involved with population questions to make UNFPA-supported projects effective. For its part, UNESCO's activities in this field are concentrated on aspects of education, communication, social and human sciences. Posters are one the means used in the villages to inform the population of family planning facilities
Français : Le problème de la surpopulation devient chaque année plus aigu et c'est vers 1967 que l'ONU a créé le Fonds des Nations Unies pour les activités en matière de population (UNFPA) dont le rôle est de faire prendre conscience aux gouvernements des implications économiques et sociales dûes aux problèmes de population ; d'assister d'une manière continue les pays en voie de développement cherchant à résoudre ces problèmes ; d'aider les organismes intéressés, à rendre effectifs les projets soutenus par l'UNFPA. Pour sa part, l'UNESCO concentre ses activités en ce domaine sur l'aspect éducation, l'information, les sciences sociales et humaines. L'affiche est un des moyen employés dans les villages pour informer la population des problèmes familiaux
