| Description |
c/n 3 Initially designed as a heavy bomber but not flown until after the war had ended, the F.60 instead became a successful commercial airliner of which around sixty were built. Built in 1921, F-HMFU operated was operated by Air Union but was involved in a fatal accident on 16th October 1925 when it crashed at Wadhurst in East Sussex during a flight from Le Bourget to Corydon. Sadly, three passengers were killed and two were injured. The museum’s information claims it was rebuilt and later used to fly around the Alps. The fuselage has somehow survived and is now on display in the Interwar Hall at the Musée de l'air et de l'espace as a rare example of a 1920’s airliner.
