Description

VEB Vereinigte Papier und Karton.... Niederschleme Werk Schönfeld. The locomotive was obviously out of use at the time, from the rusty state of the rails but the painted maintenance inscription indicates activity in 1989 at least. Oddly it was only manufactured in 1984! This locomotive is now maintained by the RAW Meiningen which built it, and is a stationery advertisement for the Johstadt "Preßnitztalbahn" railway on the main road at Thermalbad Wiesenbad. Details of this Dampfspeicherlokomotive (literally steam storage engine) are.... F 03035 1984 FLC - 14526 Cfl 1435 28.12.1984 VEB Zellstoff- und Papierfabrik Crossen .Subsequently VEB Papier & Kartonagefabrik Niederschlema, Werk Schönfeld until 1999.
