Description

Looking north from Stewart. Item 3312, Engineering Department Photographic Negatives (Record Series 2613-07), Seattle Municipal Archives. Seattle Municipal Archives changed its URL scheme circa 2022; the older URLs beginning with "clerk" are deprecated, and will eventually fail. The following search should find item number 3312 in their new database: http://archives.seattle.gov/digital-collections/index.php/Search/objects/search/num%253A3312+AND+ca_objects.type_id%253A23 .

English: A much-changed portion of Seattle's Fifth Avenue. Looking forward from Stewart Street. The Monorail now runs along this street, and the Orpheum (far right) and Ben Franklin Hotel (next on right) have been replaced by the twin towers of the Westin.
