Title
Finger ring
Description
English: A silver finger ring. The hoop of the ring has been constructed from two strands of wire, which have been soldered together side by side. One of the strands has a circular section and is undercoated. The second strand has been twisted to look like rope work before being soldered to the first piece. The bezel has been formed simply by the two adjacent strands being knotted together. There is a crack in the hoop, which has started to open out. The ring does not look worn. This finger ring is 19th – 20th century in date.
