Summary
[edit]DescriptionFlag-type station ID and direction sign for Orenco MAX station in 2017.jpg | Sign on the platform of Orenco station on the MAX Light Rail system, specifically on the south side of the platform, which is served by eastbound trains (to Gresham via downtown Portland, which TriMet refers to as the city center). From its opening in 1998 until 2017, the station was named "Orenco/NW 231st Avenue". The platform signs – which presumably are very expensive to update, unlike most media for MAX riders – have retained the old, longer name (still the case in February 2024). |
