Description

Pfc. Patrick Deacon, radio operator and Louisville, Neb., native, assigned to 2nd Platoon, Company B, 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Advise and Assist Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, puts together an antenna to keep in contact with the over-head cover provided by scout helicopters outside the town of Rawah June 26. The soldiers worked in partnership with Iraqi army personnel to locate possible facilities that manufacture improvised explosive devices. 366th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment Photo by Sgt.
