DETROIT (Sept. 9, 2012) The Brass Ambassadors from the U.S. Navy Band Great Lakes play a variety of music for visitors during the Navy's commemoration of the bicentennial of the War of 1812. This celebration coincides with Detroit Navy Week, one of 15 signature events planned across America in 2012. The weeklong event commemorates the bicentennial of the War of 1812, hosting service members from the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy.
