English: PACIFIC OCEAN (May 29, 2012) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Jordan Perez participates in a simulated helicopter crash exercise and transports a patient model down the casualty receiving ramp aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19). Mercy is preparing to arrive in its first Pacific Partnership 2012 host nation of Indonesia. Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission designed to work with host and partner nations, non-governmental organizations and international agencies to build partnership and a collective ability to respond to natural disasters.
