BALTIMORE (June 14, 2012) Members of the Fort McHenry Fife and Drum Corps march with Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Breon Smalls (left), and Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Terry Vines, both from the amphibious dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43), during a performance in commemoration of the War of 1812 at the Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine as part of Baltimore Navy Week. The Navy week is part of Baltimore's Star Spangled Sailabration and commemorates the bicentennial of the War of 1812 and the writing of the Star Spangled Banner. The United States Navy and its partners will commemorate the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 from 2012 to 2015, honoring all who fought and continue to defend safe passage on the sea.
