Description

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (May 15, 2012) Midshipman Fourth Class Colin A. Jester from 6th Company prepares to charge an opponent in the pugil stick combat exercise during the U.S. Naval Academy’s annual Sea Trials. Sea Trials is modeled after the Marine Corps’ Crucible and the Navy’s Battle Stations recruit programs. It is a capstone event for the first-year midshipmen and serves as a leadership challenge for the upper classmen who lead each event during the exercise.
