Description

PHILIPPINE SEA (April 7, 2012) Sailors assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 5 build a personnel transport module on a landing craft air cushion (LCAC) in the well deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46). Tortuga is a part of the Essex amphibious ready group and is preparing to participate in Balikatan 2012, an annual bilateral exercise designed to improve interoperability between the U.S. and Armed Forces of the Philippines.
