ARABIAN GULF (March 23, 2012) Explosive ordnance disposal technicians assigned to Commander, Task Group (CTG) 56.1, search for a mine shape placed in the water by the mine countermeasures ship USS Gladiator (MCM 11) during the exercise. CTG 56.1 provides mine countermeasure, explosive ordnance disposal, salvage diving, counter-terrorism and force protection for the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
