Description

JACKSONVILLE , Fla. (Aug. 25, 2012) Fleet Master Chief Michael Stevens leads a group of chief petty officer selectees from Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Naval Station Mayport and Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga., in the annual 5-mile Tijuana Flats Summer Beach Run. Nearly 200 chiefs and chief-selects participated in the event to build esprit de corps. Stevens has been selected as the new master chief petty officer of the Navy (MCPON).
